Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Savesta Android app and the website at https://savesta.app (collectively, "Savesta"). Savesta is operated by an independent developer ("we", "us", "our"). By using Savesta, you agree to these Terms.

Savesta is a tool you control. It helps you save copies of media (videos, images, audio) from public posts on third-party platforms when you paste a link or share content into the app. Savesta does not host, store, or stream any third-party content. All extraction happens on your device and through the original platform's public endpoints.

Savesta is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Threads, Meta Platforms Inc., TikTok, ByteDance, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TeraBox, or any other platform whose links you may paste. All product names, logos, and brands are property of their respective owners.

By using Savesta you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years old.
• You will only download content you have the right to download — content you own, content licensed to you, or content the rightsholder has authorized you to copy.
• You will respect each platform's own terms of service. Savesta gives you a technical tool; it does not grant you permission to violate any third-party agreement.
• You are solely responsible for what you do with downloaded content. Re-uploading, redistributing, or commercializing someone else's work without their permission may violate copyright law and platform rules.

• Use Savesta to download content you have no right to download.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with Savesta or its servers beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
• Use Savesta to send unsolicited messages, harass others, or impersonate anyone via the WhatsApp tools.
• Use automated means to download content in bulk from third-party platforms in a way that violates those platforms' terms.
• Use the app on a modified or rooted Android build to bypass the integrity and anti-abuse checks we use to protect our service.

Savesta is free. To keep it free, the app shows ads served by a Google advertising service and a small set of advertising partners. By using the app you understand that ads may be shown. Information about how ad networks handle your data is in our Privacy Policy. EEA, UK, and Swiss users should see the Privacy Policy for the current status of consent and ad-personalization controls.

Savesta uses operational services from Google for analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and abuse prevention, and may fall back on third-party resolver services to extract media when the primary extraction path fails. Each of those services has its own terms and privacy practices. Savesta is not responsible for the actions or content of third-party services.

We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe Savesta is being used to infringe your copyright, or that the Savesta website or app itself infringes your copyright, please follow the process described on our Copyright Policy page.

We may suspend or restrict access for any user who repeatedly uses Savesta to infringe copyright. Because Savesta does not require an account, enforcement is by technical means appropriate to the installation, including but not limited to declining service to the affected installation or disabling specific features for it.

Savesta is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that Savesta will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, OS version, or third-party platform change. Third-party platforms can change their structure at any time and break extraction.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of Savesta, your inability to use it, or any content you download through it.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of Savesta, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right, including copyright.

You can stop using Savesta at any time by uninstalling the app or closing the website. We may suspend or remove access to features — or shut down Savesta entirely — at any time, with or without notice, especially if a feature becomes unsustainable, unsafe, or legally untenable.

We may update these Terms as the app evolves or as the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page is bumped whenever we make a material change. If the change is significant, we will update this page and may notify users through the app or website when appropriate.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Savesta will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

If you are a consumer habitually resident in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region whose mandatory consumer-protection laws override this choice, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply to the extent they provide greater protection than the laws of India. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable statutory rights you have under your local law.

Severability. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of these Terms unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Events outside our control. Savesta depends on public endpoints, SDKs, and third-party services operated by others. If a third-party platform changes its endpoints, terms, or availability — or if a force majeure event such as a network outage, government action, or upstream service failure prevents us from performing — we are not responsible for the resulting interruption.
