Copyright Policy

Savesta is operated from India. Because Savesta does not host or store third-party content — files saved through the app are written directly to the user's own device — Savesta does not function as an "intermediary" within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) of India's Information Technology Act, 2000. This page is a voluntary, good-faith process for addressing copyright concerns relating to the Savesta app, its marketing pages, or content shown on this website.

This page is not a notice-and-takedown procedure under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512). If a rightsholder wishes to invoke DMCA procedures against content hosted by a third-party platform (for example, an Instagram post or a Reddit thread), the rightsholder should contact that platform directly. They control the source files and the user accounts that uploaded them.

If you believe content you own is being infringed in connection with the Savesta app or website, please email contact.savesta@gmail.com with the subject line "Copyright takedown – Savesta" and include:

1. Your full legal name, postal address, and email address.
2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
3. The URL or location on the Savesta website or app where you believe the infringement is occurring (for example, a screenshot, a specific page, or a description of the feature).
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the way you describe is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and a confirmation that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner. False statements may have legal consequences under applicable law.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We aim to acknowledge takedown notices within 5 business days. For orders served on us under India's Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 or a similar binding instrument, we will act within the timeframe specified by the order.

Savesta does not host the videos, images, or audio that users download — those files are written directly to the user's own device. If your concern is about content hosted on a third-party platform (Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and similar), the fastest and most effective remedy is to contact that platform directly. They control the source.

If your concern is about something on the Savesta app or website itself — for example, a screenshot in our marketing pages, a feature page that references your brand, or an icon — we can usually act quickly.

If your content or feature was restricted by mistake or misidentification, you (or the affected user) may send a counter-notice to contact.savesta@gmail.com. Please include your name, contact information, a description of the material that was restricted, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the restriction was a mistake, and consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India for any proceeding arising from the counter-notice.

We may suspend or restrict access to Savesta for any user who repeatedly uses the app to infringe copyright in a way within our reasonable technical control. Because Savesta does not require an account, this is enforced at the installation level by technical means appropriate to the installation, including declining service to the affected installation or disabling specific features for it.

For trademark concerns — for example, a brand name being used in Savesta's UI in a way you believe is infringing or confusing — please email contact.savesta@gmail.com with the subject line "Trademark concern – Savesta" and describe the issue. We will respond within 10 business days.
